Seal Manufacturing

We manufacture custom and standard seals for the following applications:

• Hydraulic seals

Serving a national customer base, we manufacture seals and related components at short notice to accommodate changes in the hardware, or when OEM seal kits have long lead times, thus reducing downtime.

Our extensive experience in the sealing of large-scale press plant equipment, enables us to support the motor industry and other manufacturing businesses.

We work with the following materials to produce seals and related components like guide bushes and spacers:

• Polyurethane: both hot and cold cured to match shore harness and sample properties.
• PTFE: used extensively to seal ball valves and knife gate valves when exposed to certain chemicals and elevated temperatures.
• Bronze PTFE: for wear strips and profile rings.
• Nylon: for wear strips, backing-rings and supporting elements.
• Vesconite: for strong guide bushes and bearings with low water absorption factor and low coefficient of friction.
• Silicone: to mould elements resistant to elevated temperatures and certain chemicals.
• Rubber: for flexibility and medium heat tolerance.
• EPDM: when a waterproof rubber is required for fresh and sea water applications, also weather and UV resistant.
• Mild Steel: for header and base components used in chevron assemblies.
• Stainless Steel: for components used in seal kits.
• Bronze and Aluminium: for components used in seal kits.
